This full-time position offers a unique opportunity for individuals who are keen to embark on a career in construction, learn the fundamentals of masonry, and directly contribute to the development of our community.
As a Mason Helper, you will be an indispensable part of our skilled masonry crew, working hand-in-hand with experienced masons on various construction sites across Falaj Al Mualla. Your primary responsibilities will involve providing essential support, which includes the careful preparation and transportation of building materials such as bricks, blocks, sand, cement, and aggregates. You will be responsible for accurately mixing mortar and concrete batches according to precise specifications, ensuring the consistency and quality required for our projects. Furthermore, you will play a key role in setting up and dismantling scaffolding, organizing tools, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment at all times.
This role is ideal for someone who is physically fit, possesses a strong work ethic, and is eager to learn and grow within the construction industry. Key Responsibilities
- Assist masons in laying bricks, blocks, and other construction materials.
- Mix mortar, concrete, and plaster according to specifications.
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from work areas.
- Prepare work sites by cleaning surfaces, setting up scaffolding, and ensuring safety measures are in place.
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Load and unload construction materials from delivery vehicles.
- Perform general labor duties as required to support the construction team.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures on-site.
- Assist with the cleanup of the construction site, ensuring a tidy and safe environment.
