Career.supersecrets is seeking an accomplished and visionary Marketing Director to lead our marketing initiatives and drive brand growth from our vibrant Edinburgh office. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Manage brand identity, ensuring consistency across all communication touchpoints and enhancing brand equity.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze marketing campaign performance, providing actionable insights and reports.
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively, optimizing spend for maximum ROI.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product development, and senior leadership to ensure integrated strategies.
  • Oversee public relations and communications efforts, managing media relationships and promoting positive brand image.
  • Identify and implement new marketing technologies and best practices to stay ahead in the industry.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in marketing roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership/director position.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies across diverse channels.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and develop talent.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, content strategy, social media, and analytics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
  • Strategic thinking with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in international market expansion or specific experience within the Scottish market.
