Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, trucks, and containers.
- Transport items safely within the warehouse or designated market areas, using appropriate equipment like trolleys or by hand.
- Organize and stack merchandise according to established procedures, ensuring optimal space utilization and easy accessibility.
- Assist with inventory checks, stock rotation, and order picking as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, strictly adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Report any damaged goods, discrepancies, or operational issues to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members, including warehouse associates, drivers, and supervisors, to ensure smooth and timely processing of all shipments.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the warehouse management or logistics coordinator.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 25kg) for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and high reliability.
- Ability to work effectively and maintain focus in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures and practices.
- Good verbal communication skills.
