Key Responsibilities
- Sort and deliver various types of mail and packages to homes and businesses on assigned routes.
- Safely operate a company vehicle (driving for extended periods, stopping, and starting frequently).
- Adhere strictly to prescribed routes and schedules, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups.
- Interact professionally and courteously with the public, answering questions and providing assistance as needed.
- Load and unload mail and packages from postal vehicles, ensuring proper handling and security.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and vehicle maintenance.
- Lift and carry mail satchels and packages weighing up to 70 pounds.
- Work efficiently and safely in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow).
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies diligently.
Required Skills
- Valid U.S. Driver's License for a minimum of two years with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
