Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor industrial machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Conduct routine checks, inspections, and preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational malfunctions and mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Adjust machine settings, speeds, and feeds to optimize production quality and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate production logs, reports, and other necessary documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations, policies, and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
- Collaborate with production supervisors and other team members to meet daily production targets and schedules.
- Ensure the quality of produced materials meets specified standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
- Assist with machine setups, changeovers, and cleaning as required.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a Machine Operator in an industrial or manufacturing plant.
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating heavy industrial machinery and equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Thorough understanding of industrial safety protocols and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a demanding industrial environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certification or vocational training in industrial mechanics, electrical systems, or a related field.
