Key Responsibilities
- Operate a company delivery van safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, documenting any issues or maintenance needs.
- Load, unload, prepare, and inspect products for delivery, ensuring accuracy and condition.
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes, following time schedules.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and manifest documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery status or issues.
- Collect payments (if applicable) and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good working order at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, resolving minor issues professionally.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures for handling goods and operating vehicles.
Required Skills
- Valid California Class C driver's license.
- Clean driving record (no major violations for the past 3-5 years).
- Proven working experience as a delivery driver or similar role (minimum 1 year).
