Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company van for timely delivery and pickup of goods.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow designated routes and schedules, adapting to traffic and road conditions as needed.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery status or issues.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Ensure the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the company vehicle.
Required Skills
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C or higher).
- Clean driving record for at least 3 years.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong navigational skills and familiarity with the Long Beach area.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
