Key Responsibilities
- Operate a company van safely and efficiently to deliver goods to various destinations on scheduled routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any issues and ensuring vehicle cleanliness.
- Accurately load, unload, and secure packages, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Verify cargo against delivery paperwork and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel, and other vehicle-related data.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members regarding delivery status or issues.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients at delivery points.
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines and navigate routes effectively.

Required Skills
- Valid Driver's License (Class C or equivalent)
- Clean driving record for at least the past 3 years
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally heavier with assistance
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in using GPS devices and navigation apps
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks

Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
