Key Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial delivery van safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues immediately.
- Load, unload, and secure packages in the delivery van, ensuring safe transport.
- Accurately deliver various goods to designated locations within specified timeframes.
- Maintain precise delivery logs, electronic records, and necessary paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery status or any unforeseen challenges.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations and company safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, representing Career.supersecrets professionally.
- Handle and process returns or undeliverable packages according to company procedures.
- Manage time effectively to complete routes on schedule while adapting to traffic or route changes.
Required Skills
- Valid Massachusetts Class D Driver's License.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major infractions.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Proficient in using GPS and navigation systems.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
