Key Responsibilities
- Operate a company van safely and efficiently to deliver various goods to clients and partners.
- Plan and optimize daily delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Load and unload merchandise accurately and carefully, securing items to prevent damage during transit.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and relevant documentation.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and customers regarding delivery status or issues.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major infractions in the last 3-5 years).
- Proven experience in a delivery or logistics driving role.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with GPS devices and mapping applications.
