Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily planning, scheduling, and dispatching of vehicles and drivers for various routes and deliveries.
- Monitor fleet movement in real-time using tracking systems, ensuring adherence to schedules and immediate resolution of any delays or issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of fleet maintenance schedules, repairs, fuel consumption, and vehicle documentation.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal departments regarding delivery schedules, potential delays, and special instructions.
- Support in ensuring all fleet operations comply with local and national transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Process and verify delivery notes, invoices, and other administrative paperwork related to fleet operations.
- Assist in resolving operational challenges, such as breakdowns, accidents, or rerouting needs, efficiently and effectively.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics processes and operational efficiency.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the wider logistics team as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to multitask.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, especially Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and a willingness to take initiative.

Preferred Qualifications
