Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, typically vans or light trucks, for local deliveries and pickups within Long Beach and surrounding Southern California areas.
- Strictly follow planned delivery routes and schedules to ensure efficient and timely transportation of goods.
- Verify the accuracy of cargo against delivery manifests before departure and upon delivery.
- Load and unload merchandise with care, ensuring proper handling, securing, and placement to prevent damage.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues or defects promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the company vehicle.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with dispatch, customers, and fellow team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Accurately complete all necessary delivery paperwork and electronic logs.

Required Skills
- Possession of a valid Class C Driver's License (or equivalent) for commercial driving in California.
