This professional role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods from our warehouses to their final destinations, playing a critical part in our supply chain success. You will be responsible for overseeing daily logistics activities, optimizing storage, managing inventory, and coordinating timely deliveries while adhering to strict operational standards and budget constraints. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including warehousing, transportation, and delivery scheduling.
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
- Prepare accurate shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, customs forms, packing lists).
- Oversee and manage warehouse inventory, ensuring accuracy, proper storage, and timely order fulfillment.
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
- Track and trace shipments, resolving any issues that arise during transit and providing timely updates.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with carriers and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
- Analyze and optimize logistical procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, inventory levels, and delivery metrics.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator, specifically with warehouse and delivery management.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., ERP systems, WMS) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Problem-solving aptitude with keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of relevant transportation regulations and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
