Career.supersecrets is seeking a dedicated and proactive Logistics Coordinator with a strong focus on warehouse and delivery management to join a thriving organization in Karu, Abuja. This pivotal role requires an individual who can expertly manage the flow of goods, from inbound receipts to outbound dispatches, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. You will be instrumental in maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating transportation, and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Manage inventory control, conduct regular stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure accurate record-keeping using WMS.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes, schedule transportation, and liaise with drivers and external logistics providers to ensure timely and secure deliveries.
- Monitor order fulfillment processes, track shipments, and provide real-time updates to relevant stakeholders and customers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, company policies, and transportation laws.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive logistics reports, analyzing performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, procurement, and customer service teams to streamline operations and resolve any logistics-related issues promptly.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain management.
- Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- Strong understanding of logistics principles, transportation regulations, and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective liaison with diverse teams and external partners.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification in logistics or supply chain (e.g., CSCMP, APICS).
- Experience with route optimization software or GPS tracking systems.
