Career.supersecrets is actively recruiting on behalf of a prominent client seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Coordinator specializing in Warehouse & Delivery operations. This professional role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective movement of goods from our client’s warehouse facilities to their final destinations across Garki, Abuja, and beyond. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be the linchpin in a complex network, responsible for orchestrating all facets of inbound and outbound logistics. This includes managing inventory, coordinating with freight carriers, optimizing delivery routes, and ensuring strict adherence to all regulatory and safety standards. You will leverage your strong analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements, contributing significantly to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory control.
- Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes, schedules, and methods to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing regular updates on status and resolving any issues or delays.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including inventory levels, shipping documents, and delivery reports.
- Implement and enforce safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse and during delivery operations.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Manage and reconcile stock, conducting regular physical inventory counts and investigating discrepancies.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
- Proven experience with inventory management systems and warehouse management software (WMS).
- Strong understanding of logistics principles, transportation regulations, and freight management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
