Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching of goods.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution of materials and resources.
- Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems to track stock levels accurately and minimize discrepancies.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., HR, IT, Administration) to understand their resource needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with external vendors, carriers, and suppliers to secure optimal service and pricing.
- Monitor logistics performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all local and national transportation regulations, health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on logistics activities, expenditures, and performance for management review.
- Train and supervise junior logistics staff or warehouse personnel as required, fostering a culture of efficiency and accountability.

Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain operations.
- Proven experience with inventory management systems and warehouse management best practices.
- Strong understanding of local transportation regulations and logistics networks in Abuja.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics software.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with keen attention to detail.
