We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Coordinator with a strong focus on warehouse and delivery operations to join our team in Guarimpa Estate, Abuja. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize warehouse operations, including storage, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
- Coordinate and schedule all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Develop and implement efficient routing and dispatch plans for deliveries within Abuja and surrounding areas.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including inventory levels, shipment details, and delivery proofs.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to ensure seamless operational flow and resolve any issues.
- Negotiate with transport providers to secure competitive rates and maintain service level agreements.
- Monitor and report on key logistics performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in warehouse and transport activities.
- Utilize logistics software and systems for tracking, planning, and reporting.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures for goods received and dispatched.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in logistics coordination, with a focus on warehouse and delivery operations.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other logistics software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with local transportation regulations and routes in Abuja.
