Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including warehousing, transportation, and delivery routes.
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation, ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Plan and optimize delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and cost-effective product distribution.
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and customers to ensure smooth order fulfillment and issue resolution.
- Negotiate with carriers and logistics providers to secure favorable rates and service agreements.
- Maintain accurate logistics records, prepare reports on logistics performance, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local, national, and international logistics and safety regulations.
- Address and resolve any logistical problems, delays, or issues efficiently and effectively.
- Implement and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
