Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve logistics-related issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including waybills, invoices, and customs forms.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices within the warehouse environment.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and develop efficient material handling procedures.
- Track and report on key logistics metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage a team of warehouse staff and delivery personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Utilize logistics software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to manage and track shipments and inventory.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain coordination.
- Proficiency in logistics software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control principles, and transportation regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.
- Demonstrated leadership potential with experience supervising or mentoring a small team.
Preferred Qualifications
