Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and dispatch of goods.
- Coordinate and schedule all inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and transport companies to negotiate rates, track shipments, and resolve delivery issues.
- Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve delivery efficiency.
- Prepare and process all necessary logistics documentation, including waybills, invoices, and customs forms (if applicable).
- Monitor and report on logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in warehouse and transport operations.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
- Proven experience with inventory management systems and software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
