Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor logistics operations, including warehouse activities, dispatch, and delivery scheduling.
- Manage inventory control, ensuring accurate record-keeping, stock rotation, and minimization of losses.
- Optimize delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
- Liaise with drivers, suppliers, and customers to resolve delivery issues and ensure smooth communication.
- Supervise warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, operational procedures, and efficiency standards.
- Prepare and process all necessary documentation for shipments, including waybills, invoices, and customs forms.
- Implement and maintain quality control standards for incoming and outgoing goods.
- Generate regular reports on logistics performance, inventory levels, and delivery metrics.
- Identify areas for process improvement within warehouse and delivery operations and propose solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international logistics regulations and company policies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain coordination.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in logistics software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
