Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all daily warehouse operations, including meticulous receiving, secure storage, efficient picking, careful packing, and prompt dispatch of goods.
- Coordinate and strategically schedule local and regional deliveries, continuously optimizing routes for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and meticulously track all shipments from their origin to destination, providing real-time updates and proactively resolving any transit issues or delays.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using advanced warehouse management systems (WMS) and conduct regular, thorough stock reconciliations.
- Liaise effectively and professionally with internal teams (sales, customer service) and external partners (drivers, vendors) to ensure seamless operational flow.
- Prepare and accurately process all necessary logistics documentation, including waybills, invoices, and customs declarations (where applicable).
- Implement, enforce, and regularly audit company safety protocols and standard operating procedures within the warehouse and throughout delivery processes.
- Analyze complex logistics data to identify key areas for continuous improvement in service delivery, potential cost reduction, and overall operational efficiency.
- Handle customer inquiries and promptly resolve complaints related to deliveries and shipments, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Train, mentor, and supervise junior logistics staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and adherence to best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role within a fast-paced warehouse and delivery environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, robust inventory control methodologies, and modern logistics software.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
- Excellent organizational capabilities and superior time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, for effective internal and external stakeholder interaction.
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solution-oriented approach to operational challenges.
