Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory management.
- Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to schedule and track deliveries, ensuring on-time performance.
- Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels.
- Manage freight forwarding and customs clearance procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments when necessary.
- Optimize delivery routes and schedules to enhance efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Identify and resolve logistics issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies, proactively and efficiently.
- Prepare and analyze logistics reports, including cost analysis, delivery performance, and inventory turnover.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Utilize logistics software and tools to enhance tracking, reporting, and overall supply chain visibility.
- Negotiate with carriers and suppliers to secure favorable terms and ensure cost-effective logistics solutions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new logistical strategies and procedures.
