Job Description
We are actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator specializing in Warehouse & Delivery operations for our esteemed client based in Gwagwalada, Abuja. This pivotal professional role ensures the efficient, timely, and cost-effective movement of goods from warehouse to final delivery. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will manage critical aspects of inventory, dispatch, routing, and customer communication, directly influencing our ability to meet demands and uphold high service standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the daily flow of goods, from inbound warehouse receipts to outbound customer deliveries.
- Manage inventory accuracy, including stock counts, reconciliation, and proper storage protocols within the warehouse.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes, ensuring timely and cost-efficient transportation of products across Abuja and surrounding areas.
- Liaise with internal teams (sales, customer service) and external partners (drivers, carriers) to ensure smooth operational transitions.
- Track and trace shipments, providing real-time updates and proactively resolving any transit or delivery issues.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including invoices, waybills, and dispatch notes.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local and national transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Implement and maintain warehouse best practices for organization, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic solutions to enhance performance.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to logistics and delivery, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management roles.
- Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and robust inventory control software.
- Strong understanding of transportation and delivery operations specifically within Abuja and its environs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective team and partner collaboration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
