Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory management.
- Plan and coordinate all inbound and outbound logistics activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Manage inventory levels, conducting regular stock counts and reconciliation to maintain accuracy.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to optimize delivery schedules and resolve logistical issues.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing regular updates to stakeholders and managing any deviations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, company policies, and transportation laws.
- Implement and maintain efficient documentation for all logistics processes, including waybills, invoices, and reports.
- Identify areas for process improvement within the warehouse and delivery operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prepare regular performance reports on logistics metrics, including delivery times, costs, and inventory accuracy.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain coordination.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, custom WMS).
- Excellent knowledge of inventory control principles and warehouse best practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
