Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory control, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes, schedules, and transportation logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution of goods.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., procurement, sales) and external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, transporters) to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety protocols, security procedures, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Utilize logistics software and tools to track shipments, monitor inventory levels, and generate comprehensive reports on operational performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve logistics-related issues, such as delivery delays, damages, and discrepancies, promptly and effectively.
- Lead and mentor a small team of warehouse staff and delivery personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent losses.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software (e.g., ERP, WMS).
