Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Coordinate and schedule efficient delivery routes for drivers, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, performing regular stock checks, cycle counts, and reconciling discrepancies to maintain accuracy.
- Liaise effectively with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments (e.g., sales, customer service) to ensure smooth flow of goods and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
- Utilize logistics software and systems (e.g., WMS, TMS) to track shipments, process orders, manage returns, and generate comprehensive reports on operational performance.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and relevant transportation laws and standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements and efficiency gains to enhance overall operational flow and reduce costs.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation related to shipments, inventory, and deliveries.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain coordination.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and hands-on experience with warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS) and advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy environment.
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
