Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
- Develop, implement, and monitor efficient delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation, utilizing inventory management systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments to ensure smooth flow of goods and information.
- Monitor and report on logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality standards within the warehouse and during transit.
- Manage and maintain transportation documentation, including waybills, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Address and resolve any issues or delays in logistics and transportation promptly and effectively.
- Optimize storage utilization and layout within the warehouse to maximize efficiency.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff and delivery personnel, ensuring adherence to operational procedures.
