Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including warehousing, inventory control, and transportation.
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements and company standards.
- Manage and optimize warehouse space, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval processes.
- Oversee the dispatch and routing of delivery vehicles, optimizing routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare accurate shipping documentation, invoices, and other necessary paperwork.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, procurement, customer service) to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues.
- Maintain clear communication with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to damaged goods, delivery delays, and inventory discrepancies.
- Utilize logistics software and tools to manage and track shipments effectively.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role (minimum 3 years).
- Solid understanding of supply chain management principles and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., ERP systems, WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
