Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including warehousing, transportation, and delivery.
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels within the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and retrieval procedures.
- Prepare shipping documents (e.g., invoices, packing lists, waybills) and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, customer service, warehouse) to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Optimize delivery routes and schedules to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Monitor and report on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Negotiate with carriers and third-party logistics providers to secure favorable rates and service agreements.
- Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to shipments or deliveries promptly.
- Ensure all health, safety, and security regulations are adhered to within the warehouse and during transit.
- Utilize logistics software and tools to track orders, manage inventory, and generate reports.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role within warehouse and delivery operations.
- Excellent knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles and practices.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
