Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the efficient flow of goods from warehouse to final delivery, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
- Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to optimize logistics processes and resolve issues.
- Track and report on key logistics metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and delivery status using appropriate software and systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations within warehouse and delivery operations.
- Negotiate with freight forwarders and carriers to secure competitive rates and optimal service.
- Prepare all necessary shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all logistics and warehouse activities.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in logistics coordination, warehouse management, or supply chain roles.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in logistics software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
