Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional and compassionate Live-In Nanny to provide comprehensive childcare for a delightful young family in Rulindo, Northern Province. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and nurturing individual to establish a stable and supportive environment for two children, aged 3 and 6 years old. As a live-in nanny, you will be considered an essential and trusted member of the household, responsible for the children’s daily well-being, growth, and development. Your primary focus will be on creating a safe, stimulating, and loving atmosphere where the children can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.
The ideal candidate will possess a genuine love for children, coupled with a deep understanding of child development stages and age-appropriate activities. You will be expected to plan and implement educational and recreational activities, both indoors and outdoors, encouraging creativity, curiosity, and physical activity. This includes assisting with homework, reading stories, organizing playdates, and facilitating outdoor exploration. Meal preparation for the children, focusing on healthy and nutritious options, will also be a key responsibility. Furthermore, you will manage the children’s routines, including waking up, bedtime, bath time, and nap schedules, ensuring consistency and structure.
Maintaining open and clear communication with the parents is paramount. You will provide regular updates on the children’s progress, daily activities, and any concerns that may arise, fostering a collaborative approach to childcare. Light household duties related specifically to the children’s areas, such as tidying up toys, organizing children’s rooms, and doing their laundry, are also part of this role. We are looking for someone who is proactive, highly organized, punctual, and capable of exercising good judgment in all situations. A strong emphasis on safety, hygiene, and respectful interaction with both children and parents is non-negotiable. If you are a dedicated professional seeking a long-term role where you can truly make a difference in the lives of children, we encourage you to apply. This position offers a stable, supportive environment, competitive compensation, and the chance to become a cherished and valued part of a family’s life journey.
