Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of daily household operations, ensuring efficiency and harmony.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise household staff (e.g., housekeepers, chefs, drivers, nannies), fostering a professional and cohesive team.
- Manage household budgets, inventory, and procurement, including liaising with vendors and contractors.
- Develop and implement household policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Coordinate family schedules, appointments, travel arrangements, and special events.
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and security for the residence.
- Manage household calendar, appointments, and general administrative duties.
- Oversee property maintenance, ensuring all systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are in excellent working order.
- Manage special projects such as renovations, redecorations, or property enhancements.
- Act as a primary point of contact for the family, demonstrating discretion and excellent communication.
- Handle guest relations and ensure a welcoming environment for visitors.
- Manage family vehicles, including maintenance, registration, and driver scheduling.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience as a Household Manager or Estate Manager in a large private residence.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team of household staff.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong budgeting and financial management capabilities.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Discretion, loyalty, and a strong understanding of confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and demands.
- Valid UAE Driving License (preferred but not strictly essential if alternative transport can be arranged).
