Key Responsibilities
- Operate company light vehicles safely and efficiently for the transportation of personnel, documents, and light goods.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Perform daily pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks, including mileage, fuel consumption, and travel times.
- Ensure timely delivery and collection of items, following predetermined routes and schedules.
- Keep the company vehicle clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading items as required, ensuring proper handling and security of goods.
- Represent Career.supersecrets professionally and courteously to all passengers and clients.
- Be proactive in planning routes and anticipating traffic to ensure punctuality.
- Handle minor roadside repairs or emergencies, if necessary, and escalate major issues to management.
Required Skills
- Valid Kenyan Driving License Class BCE/B1 with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven professional driving experience.
- Thorough knowledge of Kakamega town and surrounding areas’ road networks.
- Excellent defensive driving skills and awareness of road safety practices.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
