Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients.
- Verify prescription orders for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
- Monitor patient drug therapies, identify potential drug interactions, and counsel patients on proper medication usage, side effects, and storage.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications, and ensuring proper storage conditions.
- Oversee and guide pharmacy technicians and support staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to operational protocols.
- Provide immunizations and other clinical services as authorized and trained.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism, offering solutions and information.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Participate in continuous professional development to stay current with pharmaceutical advancements and regulatory changes.
- Ensure the pharmacy operates in full compliance with all Korean pharmaceutical laws and regulations.
Required Skills
- Valid Pharmacist License issued by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Republic of Korea.
- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical principles, drug interactions, and dosage calculations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Korean.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and basic computer applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with specialized pharmacy services (e.g., compounding, MTM services).
- Additional certifications in areas such as immunization or clinical pharmacy.
