We are seeking a highly skilled, Red Seal certified Plumber to join our dedicated team at Quinte Plumbing & Heating in Belleville. Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and components, including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and drainage systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems and materials required.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues, providing effective and lasting solutions.
- Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency service calls, often outside of regular business hours.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, explaining work to be performed, solutions, and costs.
- Operate and maintain a variety of plumbing tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Accurately document all work performed, including materials used and time spent on tasks.
Required Skills
- Red Seal Plumber certification (or equivalent provincial license)
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience as a licensed plumber
- Valid G-class driver's license with a clean driving record
- Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments (e.g., confined spaces, heights)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with backflow prevention device testing and certification
- Additional certifications in related trades (e.g., gas fitting, HVAC)
- Experience with commercial and industrial plumbing systems
- Customer service training or experience in client-facing roles
