Career.supersecrets is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed General Practice Medic to join our dedicated healthcare team in Jebel Ali, Dubai. As a General Practice Medic, you will be at the forefront of delivering comprehensive primary healthcare services to individuals and families, ranging from routine check-ups and chronic disease management to acute illness treatment and preventative care. Our clinic serves a multicultural patient base, including residents and professionals working within the Jebel Ali Free Zone and surrounding areas. You will be instrumental in diagnosing and treating a wide array of conditions, providing health education, and ensuring patient well-being in a fast-paced yet supportive environment. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient consultations, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Accurately diagnose and formulate effective treatment plans for acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments in accordance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations.
- Provide preventative care, health screenings, and health education to patients on various health topics.
- Manage and refer patients to specialists or hospitals when necessary, ensuring continuity of care.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide initial stabilization and treatment.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and support staff, to optimize patient care.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training initiatives to stay abreast of medical advancements.
- Adhere strictly to all medical ethics, professional standards, and local healthcare regulations.
Required Skills
- Valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license as a General Practitioner.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience in General Practice.
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize and build rapport with diverse patients.
- Proficiency in managing common medical conditions and minor emergencies.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality healthcare delivery.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a multicultural environment, particularly in the Middle East.
- Additional language proficiency (e.g., Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Tagalog).
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Experience in occupational health or travel medicine.
