Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging property viewings for prospective tenants.
- Register and qualify new applicant details, matching them accurately to suitable properties.
- Skillfully negotiate tenancy terms and conditions between landlords and tenants.
- Prepare, process, and execute all necessary tenancy agreements in strict compliance with legal requirements.
- Proactively generate new business by identifying and securing new landlord instructions.
- Provide exceptional, memorable customer service and build strong, lasting relationships with all clients.
- Efficiently handle enquiries, resolve any issues or concerns promptly, and ensure high tenant satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and database entries.
- Adhere to all relevant property legislation, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with the property management team to ensure smooth tenancy transitions.
- Conduct thorough market appraisals and provide expert, data-driven advice to landlords.
- Achieve and consistently exceed personal and office performance targets.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, ideally within the real estate sector.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities with a proven track record.
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail and robust administrative skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software.
- Full UK Driving Licence and consistent access to a reliable car for property visits.
- Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and calmly in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- A natural problem-solver with a proactive, can-do approach to challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- ARLA Propertymark Level 3 qualification or actively working towards it.
- In-depth knowledge of the Islington property market and local area amenities.
- Previous direct experience as a Letting Agent or Lettings Negotiator.
