Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to lawyers, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
- Prepare and format legal documents, such as pleadings, briefs, contracts, and other court filings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic client files, ensuring confidentiality and easy retrieval of information.
- Conduct preliminary legal research using online databases and other resources to support ongoing cases and legal inquiries.
- Assist in client intake processes, including initial client communications, gathering necessary information, and maintaining client relationships.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and general office upkeep to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and phone calls, directing inquiries appropriately and professionally.
- Assist with billing procedures, expense reports, and other financial administrative tasks as required.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
