Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of laundry attendants, ensuring efficient workflow and high productivity.
- Oversee the entire laundry cycle, including sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, and mending of hotel linens and uniforms.
- Ensure all guest room linens (bedding, towels) and F&B linens (tablecloths, napkins) meet hotel quality and hygiene standards.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the laundry department.
- Monitor and manage laundry chemical usage, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Conduct regular inspection and minor maintenance of laundry equipment; coordinate with external technicians for major repairs.
- Manage linen inventory, track stock levels, and coordinate orders for new supplies and replacements.
- Train new laundry staff on proper procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
