Key Responsibilities
- Sort and separate laundry items (linens, towels, uniforms, guest garments) according to type, color, and required washing procedures.
- Operate commercial laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and ironers safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload laundry machines, ensuring correct cycles and temperatures are used.
- Fold, press, and organize clean laundry items, preparing them for distribution to rooms, restaurants, and other hotel departments.
- Inspect items for stains or damage, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including equipment and workstations.
- Handle guest laundry requests with care and discretion, adhering to hotel policies.
- Assist with inventory counts of linens and supplies as needed.
