As a Laundry Helper, you will be an integral part of our housekeeping and operations team, responsible for the meticulous handling of all laundry items. Key Responsibilities
- Sort and separate laundry items according to fabric type, color, and required washing procedures.
- Operate commercial washing, drying, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Fold, press, and hang clean laundry items including linens, towels, and staff uniforms.
- Inspect items for stains, damage, or wear, and report issues to supervisors.
- Organize and stock linen carts, ensuring timely delivery to guest rooms and other hotel departments.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the laundry facility and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to hotel standards, health, and safety regulations, and infection control procedures.
- Monitor laundry supply levels and communicate needs to the management.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on laundry machinery and report any malfunctions promptly.
- Assist with inventory counts of linens and laundry supplies as required.
