Career.supersecrets is actively seeking a diligent and energetic Laundry Helper to join the team at one of our esteemed partner hotels in Ajao Estate, Oshodi-Isolo. This full-time, on-site position is crucial for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort our hotel is known for. As a Laundry Helper, you will be an integral part of our housekeeping and guest services department, ensuring that all linens, towels, uniforms, and other fabric items are immaculately cleaned, pressed, and readily available for use. You will be responsible for operating commercial laundry equipment, handling various types of fabrics, and adhering to strict hygiene protocols. Key Responsibilities
- Sort laundry items (linens, towels, uniforms, guest garments) according to type, color, and wash requirements.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload laundry, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Fold, stack, and organize clean laundry items for storage and distribution.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to all hotel safety and hygiene standards and procedures.
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and linens.
- Support the housekeeping team as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy laundry bags (up to 25kg).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic literacy and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

Preferred Qualifications
