Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Laundry Attendant to join our dedicated hotel services team in Ngororero, Western Province. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be an essential part of ensuring our guests experience the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the daily laundry operations, ensuring all linen, towels, and guest garments are cleaned, pressed, and handled with the utmost care and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and level of soiling.
- Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload laundry, ensuring correct water temperature and appropriate detergents are used.
- Iron, press, fold, and stack clean linens, towels, and guest clothing to high standards.
- Inspect all items for stains, damage, or wear, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to hygiene and sanitation standards set by the hotel and local regulations.
- Monitor inventory of laundry supplies and report needs to management.
- Assist with other hotel duties as required to support overall operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy laundry bags.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify stains or damage.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of operating laundry equipment.
