Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironers, safely and efficiently.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron all hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and other fabric items according to established procedures and schedules.
- Inspect items for stains, damage, and wear; report any issues to the supervisor for appropriate action.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and manage laundry supplies, reporting inventory needs to ensure continuous operation.
- Handle delicate garments and special cleaning requests with utmost care.
- Ensure timely delivery of clean linens to various hotel departments.
- Assist with inventory counts and tracking of linen usage.
- Follow all hotel policies and procedures regarding guest service, safety, and security.
- Collaborate effectively with the housekeeping and other hotel teams to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to operate industrial laundry equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina, capable of standing for long periods, lifting, bending, and pushing laundry carts.
