We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Laundry Attendant to join our client’s esteemed hotel housekeeping team in Egbeda, Alimosho. Key Responsibilities
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and degree of soiling.
- Operate washing, drying, and ironing machines according to standard operating procedures.
- Inspect all laundered items for cleanliness, damage, and proper pressing/folding.
- Handle delicate garments and guest laundry with utmost care and attention.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry area, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
- Monitor and manage laundry supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Assist with inventory counts of linens and uniforms as required.
- Adhere strictly to hotel policies and procedures regarding laundry and housekeeping operations.
- Collaborate effectively with other housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of services.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Laundry Attendant or similar role, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Familiarity with various laundry equipment and cleaning agents.
- Knowledge of different fabric types and appropriate washing/drying methods.
