Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain industrial washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Sort all soiled linen by type, color, and degree of soilage before washing.
- Load and unload laundry into washers and dryers, ensuring correct temperatures and cycles are used.
- Fold, press, and hang clean linen, including sheets, towels, tablecloths, napkins, and staff uniforms, to hotel standards.
- Inspect all linen for stains, damage, or wear and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records of laundry processed and chemicals used.
- Adhere strictly to all hotel safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
- Clean and maintain the laundry area, equipment, and storage spaces to ensure a tidy and organized workspace.
- Assist with inventory counts of linen and supplies as required.
- Collaborate effectively with the housekeeping and other hotel departments to ensure timely delivery of clean linen.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks.
