Key Responsibilities
- Sort laundry into categories (e.g., whites, colours, delicates, guest laundry) before washing.
- Operate and maintain industrial washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload laundry items, ensuring proper use of detergents and chemicals according to fabric type and stain levels.
- Inspect laundered items for cleanliness, stains, or damage, re-washing or reporting as necessary.
- Fold, iron, and press linens, towels, uniforms, and guest garments to high hotel standards.
- Maintain accurate records of laundered items and monitor inventory levels of linens and supplies.
- Adhere to all hotel hygiene standards, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Clean and maintain the laundry area and equipment, ensuring a tidy and organized workspace.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.
- Assist housekeeping team with other duties as needed to ensure smooth hotel operations.
Required Skills
