Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain industrial washing, drying, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron all hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry.
- Inspect items for stains, damage, or wear, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to hygiene and sanitation standards in all laundry operations.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies, detergents, and chemicals, notifying supervisors when reordering is necessary.
- Handle delicate fabrics and special items according to specific care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized laundry room and storage areas.
- Assist with other housekeeping duties as required to support the hotel's operations.
- Ensure timely delivery of clean linen to various departments within the hotel.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to operate laundry machinery (washers, dryers, ironers).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina, capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of laundry chemicals and their safe handling.
