Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and irons, according to safety guidelines.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press all hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry.
- Inspect items for stains, damage, or wear and tear, reporting issues to the supervisor.
- Load and unload laundry machines, ensuring correct chemical usage and water temperatures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry room at all times.
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and linens.
- Handle guest laundry requests with discretion and efficiency.
- Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and assist colleagues as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy laundry bags and stand for extended periods.
